The ceiling is gyprock/plasterboard. My question to you all is: the strata approval clearly states that in the event of any damage, deterioration or otherwise issues due to installation or running, the cost of restoring the common property is the responsibility of the owner. This last part worries me. What are the various issues with installation and running/upkeep of ducted aircons? I am concerned with things like, say, fluid/water seepage and possible damage to wood/timber in the roof area. Do note, the unit block is 25 years old.
