Im wondering if anyone has mixed two different creepers along a fence line?

It would be purely for aesthetics as our colourbond fence was raised to allow for privacy.

From the end of our deck to the fence line is approximately 4m. The idea at the moment is to have a narrow garden bed along the fence and to grass the area (4mx12m)

I currently have star jasmine growing in pots and was thinking of transplanting them along the fence. But Im wondering if I should break it up a little and plant another type of creeper as well?

The only thing to be wary of is that star jasmine happily re-shoots from low down (basal foliage) so you can have nice even coverage from ground to the top of the fence. Many creepers (eg potato vine, wisteria, happy wanderer) simply scramble for the top of the fence for light and just sit up there leaving bare stems down low.

We had a Banksia Rose as well as Jasmine along the fence in our old house and it looked great but you do need to keep the banksia prunned every few months.
