Just wondering if anyone could give me some advice. We have built a retaining wall with a slotted agi pipe for drainage (covered with a sock) and then covered it with crushed rock. With the latest rain the water has just rushed through the pipe and out the bottom of the wall rather than draining away in the pipe. We're not sure why this has happened as it is angled to drain away to a drainage pipe but nothing is coming out of it. Please help!!
The water will take the easiest route, so running through the rock and out under the wall is an easier route than through the sock. The main thing is the water is getting out from behind the wall somehow, it's the water that builds up and puts pressuer on your wall that you need to worry about. By the sound of it that's not a problem.
