looks great!! love the stones used for the alfresco and your curved planted area! with spring here the plants will hopefully take off and really make the area pop :)

Plants are now starting to grow. We have potatoes, carrots, lettuce and tomatoes in the veg garden. The rain we have had has helped lots.

We have been in 6 months now so another 6 months should make a huge difference. Can't wait to see how they all go over the summer.

Yes Kiwi, it has been a long time but I don't post as much nowadays. I do keep an eagle eye on things though. ::wink:: We are getting new neighbours in about Feb and the other side start their house later this month. We are going to be like a pimple in between 2 big houses. Hope the one about to start doesn't block out too much sun.
We are going cruising around NZ in Dec-Jan. Will be able to catch up with some of our rellies. We will be at sea for New Year so hope we don't get to drunk. ::celeb:: Might fall overboard. We can swim but not that far.

Looks brilliant, love the screen.

Can I ask what tiles did you use for your alfresco paving (and where were the tiles from)? that looks great and is just what I was thinking of for our patio area.

Thanks

They are a sandstone. We got them from a Boral supplier in Melbourne. Can't find them on the website now. Maybe check out some sites up your way.
We are really happy with them.

They are located in Buniyong near Ballarat. We went up there to see them in person. Lots of sizes and styles to pick from. Ours cost about $800 I think.

Just rechecked the price on web and it is $655.
They also do them in powdercoat, stainless steel etc.

Hi Rus,
We had them done by a small company in Hoppers crossing. Where are you?
I think the cost was about $2k all up.

Hi Kaytee,

Luv what you have done with your place .. all the landscaping work looks great.. wonder what we are going to do.. drawing a total blank on any plans or ideas right now... but mostly cause we aint there yet i think..
Well we built at newhaven drive. Its the only newly built house on the street i think. We're actually from bisbane.. so its gonna be a big move for us... but not until we find suitable jobs.. until then will only be doing little bits here and there .. but majorly for security .. as ive been reading on the forum .. seem to be a lotta breakins around the suburb .. especially new homes.. pretty worried about it.. two things a priority now.. security screens and side gates!
Thanks for the info on the side gate.. any way u remember who the company was.?

Thanks again

Rus

Sorry Rus, I just know where they are. They advertised I think in one of the local rags. I'll have a look for you, when I can. Some of the breakins are also in the other estate of Wyndham Waters which is now sort of a suburb of Williams Landing.

Kay
