Browse Forums DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair 1 Mar 21, 2013 2:56 pm Hello everyone, I was wondering if it is possible/practical to do your own bitumen driveway re-seal. We have a 600 sq meter driveway that has been given a single cold bitumen emulsion and 5mm aggregate seal about 8 years ago and is starting to look a little worn. Living out in a rural area (Bega) means that there are limited contractors available here and those that are here are useless. I was wondering if it is possible to obtain the cold bitumen emulsion and aggregate and do it yourself. It doesn't matter how long it takes me to do the job...I really have no other option as far as I can see. Cheers...DoggieBreath Building Standards; Getting It Right!
