There is a gap at the bottom of the column which I assume should be repaired in a particular way. Currently If I give it a good push it will move a tiny bit. See images. My question is how should I repair the gap? Should I use a flexible sealant (like Sikaflex FC), or should I use a mortar with no flexibility?
