I purchased a segmented diamond cut off wheel for my 5" grinder and made a series of vertical cuts about 10mm apart, then chipped them away with a hammer. Will probably get some epoxy filler to repair the areas of concrete that have broken away/level the surface in preparation for a deck ledger board to be installed.
