I would like to DIY most/all of the kitchen but I have been reading conflicting reports regarding materials. I have read that you cannot have combustible materials within 430mm of the BBQ. Is this 430mm negated if you insulate around the BBQ/heat source. i.e. a metal or cement sheet type material under and around the BBQ. I would ideally like to use treated pine for the frame but if the 430mm still stands I'm not sure what I will use. I'm not sure what I will do for the bench top. I wanted to use timber again but I think that will be out. Maybe might just use blue board with tiles over the top. Thanks. Mick That's a fantastic result! Happy you got it sorted out. cheers Simeon 6 8796 You need to reference the manufactures installation guide, your supplier may have strengthened the base where it is not required to sit on a bed. 1 1998 in the stormwater pit or the drain?
