We are having white vinyl wrap cabinets, ice snow C/S benchtop and beige tiles on the floor. Not sure what colour the kickboard should be, white or s/s or ?. Also, don't know what colour splashback to get, maybe latte or beige?? We have all white applicances. Should the handles be s/s. Not sure on type of vw, satin etc. Look forward to hear your ideas, thanks.

What style is your kitchen and do you want to keep it all neutral? A darker colour kick can have an interesting optical effect. When the kicks are darker the cupboards appear to "float".

I've had white kicks before and having to get down on hands and knees to clean them because of shoe marks etc. is painful. Never again!! This time I'm having peruvian clay kicks or something similar.

Do a search on the Houzz site for SS kicks. Have a look at the pics of both classic and modern kitchens. SS seems to go with everything , provided you have SS handles, dishwasher, sink as well. The satin chrome finish for handles gives a softer look overall.

Since everything else is neutral you are not limited with your splashback colours. Are you having glass or tile?

I am a big fan of satin chrome handles and S/s kick boards. Choose your splashback last with everything in place and you can tone the whole kitchen down or Jazz it up to suit.

Thank you for your advice. We have now decided to have floating floorboards instead of tiles. Not sure what colour yet. I dont know anything about floorboards. The kitchen is modern with silver handles.
