My house is made from insulated concrete panels and I have done some research about concrete kitchen benchtops. has anyone used them or know anything about price or useability?

I have them. I think from memory they cost about $1600 to upgrade from laminex. This included strengthening the base cabinets. It was much cheaper than caesar stone. We have been in our house for about 2 1/2 years now and there are a couple of stains. I put an oily spoon on the bench and the oil soaked in. Here are a couple of pics when we first moved in.

They look great Meagan! It looks like they're ground and polished, is that right?
I have seen examples where they are grey in colour but very smooth/polished looking.
Can you tell me who made them and were they cast on site or in factory?
Did that $1,600 include installation? Anything else you can tell me would be very helpful.

You're right they are ground and polished. Mine were made by a local cabinet maker in his factory. The $1600 was the upgrade cost from laminate and did include installation. Not sure what else I can tell you.
Where about are you located? I am in Northern Victoria so my guy probably won't be an option.
