it may be their issue if we dont like it as we did not specify it and we were not asked for a colour preference at all? it doesnt say anything in our docs about shadowline that i can see. So over mistakes and bad surprises. We would be happy with the bathroom being as is but the kitchen, it just doesn't work for us and as a central part of the house they need to get it right.
Really trying to get the hard garden stuff completed in the backyard, dug and laid 15m of bricks, and then dug the other channel (18m odd) for the other side of the yard, then I need to make the 6 bags of concrete to get them laid.
Had to work this weekend solo, back to my day job today, so tired

Is your place Prestige or Lifestyle? I know that it was in the "style republic promo" for Prestige but not sure about Lifestyle.
There was no spot for in colour selections to change from black, they just wrote it in the notes. In fact when I initially enquired they told me it should be black as that's how it makes the shadow effect. If you haven't had the opportunity to consider if you even wanted a shadowline then I would definitely be raising the issue.
I'd been wondering how you your build was going and by the sounds of it not so good?? Really hope that things start to improve for you soon.

Can imagine Humble! Much easier to watch other people build your house than the work afterwards Did you mean to post this in the other thread??
Just so many issues JLD - an issue with a retaining wall required that was not added in the plans, the major brick issue [they have agreed to render but not all of the fault], they installed the wrong basins so we have waited on that, the kitchen is wrong in a few ways, now we realise the niche in the bathroom hasnt been put it - lots of false truths with timing promises. Nevertheless we actually feel like things have been good. It makes a difference when you can talk to your SS like we can and if they had been making errors but delivered as per the verbal guidance we had, that would have been fine. Also a mad year for us personally which is not PD's fault but involved in why things feel messy for us. Anyway! Must catch up on how things are going for you.
Sounds like you have a great SS, shame about the problems though! Are they resolving the kitchen the way you want it? Can't wait to see pics of it when you're happy with it
Really hope things start to turn around for you guys soon.
So unsure about our splashback! It is Milton Moon; we thought it would be a bit darker. Its not a pop like most of you.. and it needs our Franke tap, rangehood etc and furniture and kitchenaid to make it right I think. Also there is only one of our special lights over the bench not the full 3 yet; and finally, we have a paint issue so there could be some remote chance that the wall colour will change slightly. Oh not finally, there is also still some of the black shadowline error left, you can vaguely see it at the sides. Theyre working on that. HAHA disclaimer rant over .

Oh wow, very provincial, I absolutely love it!!
Love your floors, love your wall colour and love love your pendents!! Once your gorgeous tap goes in and the kitchen is "dressed" it will be beautiful. It's exactly the look I'm trying to achieve.
When I look at your kitchen, it makes feel warm, peaceful and happy all at the same time!
If mine turns out anything like yours I will be over the moon!
Well done!

Me too, love your lights and splashback.l know you said the name of the splashback colour, what is colour/shade,on my screen it looks a light grey. Floors also look good, are they vinyl planks.
Hey Pattycake; it is Dulux Milton Moon which is a soft blue/grey. The floors are Bolero by UTC in Dusty Rock; they are laminate, super hard wearing for our little people. Thanks guys! We are really happy with the end result, DH wishes he did the draws a little differently but that is about all we would change on what we have done. Or perhaps a littttle darker splashback
Your kitchen looks fantastic – congratulations. It’s the perfect match of colours and textures. Good job, can’t wait to see the rest of your home. Cheers, Ebony
Thanks Ebony .. will give a final pic with the stools eventually. Hope to see a few more PD kitchen pics from other ppl soon!
Hi thebigbuild,
Yes, I agree – it would be great to see a few more people posting up and sharing their details on their kitchen selections. Its so useful and helpful for people who are yet to have their selection and colour appointments. Looking forward to seeing some more pics from your kitchen. Cheers, Ebony

One thing we are totally stoked about is the flooring, just what we imagined and hoped for a budget option we think it looks great.
Hi Love your kitchen... can u pls tell me the colour you choose for the splashback and the type of flooring and the colour of it. I am thinking of doing Bolero as it comes with the package but not sure of its with two young toddlers.... yours looks great... Chris
Thanks Chris. Sorry for slow response; finally living in our home rather than planning to live in it LOL. I have a 1 and 4 year old; so the flooring is getting a thrashing, we love it. It is also not glued down so when they are grown we can pull it up easily. But Im not sure that would want to that soon, as we get a load of comments on it and are finding it super easy.
