Re: Show me your kitchen... 2922Jun 02, 2015 8:17 pm MnT The fridge/oven question may be because something hot is next to something cold? We had the same thing in our old house, if it caused any issues we didn't notice. Maybe? But a brand new Miele oven certainly isn't letting out heat from the side Re: Show me your kitchen... 2923Jun 02, 2015 8:18 pm dolphinblu sco77K Lovely kitchen. Re: Show me your kitchen... 2924Jun 04, 2015 10:29 am @sco77k your kitchen is beautiful. I just came into this thread for some inspiration and I think I have found it! We would like bamboo flooring this exact colour. Can I ask you what colour your flooring is? We have a friend with bamboo flooring. He built 4 years ago and highly recommends it. He said that they have had parties in the house and high heels on the floor(no high heels in my house lol!) and although there is a scratch here and there they have been great. I don't think you can beat the warmth of a bamboo/wooden floor, especially when you are using white cabinetry with it! If you get any scratches grab a walnut and rub the area on the floor and the scratch will disappear. It's amazing ! Construction should be finished in December. Its a mix of black and white with ply shelving and a natural timber 'insert' on the benchtop. We've also designed a central kids study nook as part of the kitchen/dining room. We are toying around with a couple of minor changes, and still need to pick pendant lighting for the benchtop and dining area. We are quite excited about our new kitchen! Here is our design, and how it fits into the overall plan: Re: Show me your kitchen... 2936Jul 19, 2015 8:42 pm Our kitchen, just need to find some pendant lights http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/ag7/natlyn7/IMG_1448_zps31oim1gg.jpg Lexia Slim Twist with Beechwood Homes http://houseoflexia.blogspot.com.au/ https://www.instagram.com/natlyn7/ Re: Show me your kitchen... 2937Jul 19, 2015 8:42 pm Our kitchen, just need to find some pendant lights Lexia Slim Twist with Beechwood Homes http://houseoflexia.blogspot.com.au/ https://www.instagram.com/natlyn7/ Re: Show me your kitchen... 2938Jul 19, 2015 9:22 pm Great kitchen natlyn, love those dark stone benches and waterfalls What colour stone and cupboards?
