I have gone back to my post and updated it to include the colours/finishes etc.

Am really happy we got these stools - good old Ikea ingolf bar stools in case anyone was wondering!! My brother has 'spinny' stools and they would drive me nuts if we had them.......our kids are almost 4 and 21 months and so far, so good - our stools are high enough for the kids to be scared that they will fall off!! Once I put the 21month old on them, he stays there until someone can lift him down! Plus I would be worried that the said children, would spin around on spinny stools a bit too much and damage the benchtops!!
One advantage of the 'spinny' stools is that they can be lowered - my brother then has another 3 stools/seats that can be used around the table - can't quite do that with our stools!

Thanks Eiffel , really love the look.

My son is nearly 9 so he's probably ok on the spiny stools. We are going to likely have timber floors so will need some protection on the legs.

Love looking at all the kitchens again, we meet with our joiner on Wednesday - despite it being a public holiday!

I'm quite sad as I only realised a few weeks ago that the window in our kitchen is so large it won't allow any splashback at all - and I had wanted glass. All the windows in my house are bigger then I pictured. I guess technically I still get a glass splashback though...lol
