I have gone back to my post and updated it to include the colours/finishes etc.
Am really happy we got these stools - good old Ikea ingolf bar stools in case anyone was wondering!! My brother has 'spinny' stools and they would drive me nuts if we had them.......our kids are almost 4 and 21 months and so far, so good - our stools are high enough for the kids to be scared that they will fall off!! Once I put the 21month old on them, he stays there until someone can lift him down! Plus I would be worried that the said children, would spin around on spinny stools a bit too much and damage the benchtops!! One advantage of the 'spinny' stools is that they can be lowered - my brother then has another 3 stools/seats that can be used around the table - can't quite do that with our stools!

Love looking at all the kitchens again, we meet with our joiner on Wednesday - despite it being a public holiday!
I'm quite sad as I only realised a few weeks ago that the window in our kitchen is so large it won't allow any splashback at all - and I had wanted glass. All the windows in my house are bigger then I pictured. I guess technically I still get a glass splashback though...lol

I'd say so ... the best (with a view!)
