The Blumotion soft close piston adapts automatically to the force applied to it. If you are going to use them make sure you drill the 10mm hole the exact depth of the piston. I have found if you close the door really hard you can break the piston collar and if your hole is deeper than the piston housing you may end up burying it! I've dug some footings to embed a post anchor into. My holes are around 450mm deep which I'll put a 200mm stirrup into.
