Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Jul 17, 2013 6:39 pm Hi Hoping to get some help please. We need to pick render colour for the garage and two front poles, plus paint colour for that front bit between the poles and also door colour. Have a look at the two pictures and tell me what you think. I was originally thinking either colorbond surfmist, evening haze or dune for all the render and colorbond monument for the door colour. We can pick any dulux paint colour. I was thinking a light render to give it a bit of "pop" but don't know. The front door is just standard size and has the 4 frosted horizontal glass panels. Our house colours are: Bricks: Austral Leisure Roof tiles: Boral Macquarie Gunmetal Gutters: Colorbond Monument Fascia: Colorbond surfmist Eaves: Colorbond surfmist half strength Windows: Colorbond surfmist Garage sectional door: Colorbond Monument Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Help with render and front of house paint colour 3Jul 17, 2013 9:47 pm Hi TJ1 We are having dark liquorice bricks, charcoal roof tiles, monument gutters, surfmist fascias, surfmist panel lift door and finally evening haze render on the front portico. We have talked to a few people about this and they have said the colours will work and we hope so too. We have not built yet and so do not have any pics to show you as yet. We chose evening haze as it is in the same colour pallette as the surfmist. It was designed to complement surfmist I believe. The evening haze render to the front portico for our facade will be a contrast against the dark bricks. thanks chippy! here is the back of the wall which has not been backfilled yet.
