I think industry experts should not remain anonymous. We should be able to see their ID and their experience and qualifications. I don't mean this for the average member, just for those who say they are builders, trades or suppliers. They (we) should be accountable for our advice and statements. They could remain anonymous of course but cannot claim any qualification that they cannot prove.

Claim knowledge or experience, then state who you are... Perhaps it could even be another level of member to differentiate, similar to a moderator...

Thanks for the idea Ed I'm sure there'll be a discussion as something to take into consideration.

I think if members kept to giving advice and focus on answering the original questions from the poster rather than going into a competition on who has the most credentials... that would also help
