I also remember someone asking me as i was leaving for work one morning back in the early days if he could come onto my land iwhile he was doing siteworks I asnwered yes and advised him their is a stormwater pipe 2 feet from the boundary - he advised no problem as he only needs an extra foot to work in. i looked that night but couldn't see any issues and my stormwater was still flowing - still flows now but losing some of it to the front yard. Pipe runs from the front of my house at the edge of my concrete down to the sidewalk. damaged section is about a meter from the sidewalk. Am i Correct in assuming the neighbors builder is liable for the repairs and verifying the rest of the pipe in that 3 meter run is undamaged? Will be calling them on Monday and want to make sure im informed first Re: Damaged Stormwater pipes front yard after neighboring Bu 2Sep 22, 2018 11:30 pm The normal course of events is for the builder to give you all the excuses as to why they are not liable but you might be lucky if you make an approach but from what I see in the photo, I would be concerned about the stormwater pipe's depth of cover...or apparent lack of. If it is not buried to compliance, then this is the probable cause of the damage and the non compliance (if applicable) a matter between you and your builder. 3in1 Supadiverta.
