I went farmhouse. My heart cries for verandahs. but I do love the castle idea as well.

As much as I love this victorian classic. I'd need the $$$ to pay for someone else to keep up the constant painting it would need.

I voted for the Spanish Hacienda because I love courtyards. But a Moroccan style courtyard house or a siheyuan (Chinese style courtyard house) or Iranian style or any courtyard is good.

Courtyard just means an enclosed space where you can see daylight above - in contemporary architecture there is a revival of courtyards which is very nice to see.
