I am wondering if the overhang on these windows (the bottom of the window frame is overhanging the slab by quite a bit) is ok? I should add there is a steel post in the corner of the room between the window and the glass sliding door, and steel beams in the roof, so I presume the windows are non-load bearing; not sure if that makes any difference? In the end, two pieces of treated timber (20mm thick) were bolted onto the joists and planed when there was too much sticking out.
