The benchtop has to be installed in the fixing stage according to our contract. I think it went in 2 weeks after the kitchen cupboards.We are very close to handover...yesterday we had all our plumbing done...baths/shower/vanities/all taps and mixers installed. Hi Mellybuilding All those brick names are so familiar....our choices were Rice, Paddington and Castellano. Castellano was not standard with our builder as well :x so when we did our color selection we choose Castellano as our preferred brick and Paddington as the second choice depending on the $$$ ...

Congrats 78xtc on the site start :D . You might already have a slab by this afternoon. We are also building with Plantat*ion...at lock stage....plaster and cornice finished this week and we are expecting to see the kitchen cabinets next week. We have the Castellano bricks with off white mortar :D :D...

Hi Gester....all i can say is bring on the construction :D :D Good to see some more fellow H1 members building here with Plant*ation Homes. We are also building with them on Brisbane South...Retreat and we our bricks were finished last week and plaster is going in this week!! They were delivered yes...

Thanks Michelle and SuH. i was thinking of changing the Overhead cupboards to Stipple Seal .....so all will be one color and changing the splash back to stone fish....which is kinda light grey.. its very hard to visualise how this will look I want a bright kitchen...so that i dont keep on switching ...
