Did my fortnightly walk through this week. Although some improvement still a lot to be done. We walked through and taped most of the issues. Still some way to go. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170617/f2c89fe2918f5093614d1fbd320f30ce.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170617/906d91b116e2f69...

On the Clipsal "always on" LED backlight, all of ours are illuminated always. Whether two way or three way, I guess our installers knew this little trick [emoji1360] Yeah I think that's an easier setup. What we want is all LED backlights for that light to be "on" if the light is...

Might want to check with both Optus and Telstra to see which cable service is available on your street. Generally it's one or the other or both. Then you can decide which service is avaialble. Also note the cable services will be replaced by the new NBN which will change everything. Did you provisi...

Yes pictures please! We had an issue with foxtel installation lately and the only option avaialble in our street was getting satellite pay TV instead of cable. Had a site visit with CM. interesting meeting as we saw a reasonable amount of progress but still so much to do. Just getting the feeling that M are pushing ahead with what they can do now in order to pass their QA tick box to then push us into handover. E.g I called out the lights setting and it wa...

And so we finally had handover on Thursday. Our journey with Metricon began back in 2015 and I couldn't be happier to see the back of this company. At least until something breaks down and I need to contact them lol The last few years have been very stressful for us and I've felt like I've had a pa...

That's right. Converting powder to shower doesn't automatically upgrade the hot water system. I had to ask for it and pay the difference. It's one of the thing that was mentioned numerous times on 'things you forget' forum. NabeelC | Metricon Merricks 38 | Queensland http://forum.homeone.com.au/vie...

The ones we had didn't do it out of the box, they needed a modification, but it's not hard to do If you've still got the instructions or link, could you post them on here or PM me? Build thread: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78995

Ring Clipsal customer service and ask them if they have an official way of doing it... It can be done by linking all of the backlight LEDs to the same circuit... Doesn't take much modification of the switch to do it, but does need an extra wire between the switches to achieve the outcome you want.....
Yeah unfortunately that's a limitation with the backlit LED for 2-way and 3-way . We were told of this at our electrica...

So after yet another week of poor communication and fairly poor progress, had the AM call me and gave it to him with both barrels. To his credit he didn't try and defend Metricon or argue back (he didn't have a leg to stand on) and took on board my calls outs (or so he's said, we wait to see if anyt...

Our site meeting with the area manager went well last week, he listened to all we had to say and assured us he would be managing the build going forward. As promised, we got an update from him on all the issues raised but the majority of them remain open/unresolved. E.g. Confirming that the 11w dow...
