Hi Ezza, It may differ from my area to your (as your one was a KDR), I can confirm mine is connected to the underground storm water discharge for our estate. Thanks Jeeta, do it’s like the storm water drainage is set up, we just have to finish it with our landscaping. So we can direct water to the ...

if you have six of them they would be stormwater, check against your drawings for layout of stormwater drains to confirm. Yes grade your surface levels toward the drain, cut it and fit prefab plastic drain pit at the lowest point. Another way to tell would be to measure the diameter. Stormwater is ...
Thanks for that - I will now go ahead and buy appropriate storm water pits for the pipes. Appreciate your help But isn’...

Does anyone know who Arden use for their driveways? They use a guy called Koncrete Dean. I tired to use him but he would never show up to quote.

Oh wow. That's a totally different approach to how they done mine. House is going good. Hoping to complete landscaping once my neighbours are all settled. Had my 90 day warranty inspection a couple of weeks ago, so Arden have been chipping away at the defects. Generally nothing major besides a plumb...

Hi Ezza, Congrats on the progress. Seems to be coming up nicely. Did you frame get delivered pre constructed?

So received message from SS J that concreters on site had rectified the issues 4,5 and 6 - but no photos Have you had any update on when framers will be available? Well - we have been given 300 days for completion as per contract - so just to have to wait it out. However, since we are building with...

For us, Frame stage has been completed. New Home Inspections went through it and only picked up 5 defects, which is not too bad. Also got our site cost variation today. It seems they had forgotten to do it after the slab was completed. It came in at $19,569 just a tad above our price guarantee of $...
Are you joking - - If I remember BigredDoor too had M class and his site costs came below $4000 - my with H1 with 1 met...

I don't know if my SS was kidding or not, be he reckons we could be in before Christmas because we are using Hebel instead of bricks, but I think he might be a bit too optimistic. Before Xmas? Now that's optimistic! When did you start? We are using Hebel as well. Our official site cut/start date wa...

Just been told we have to have round downpipes because of render, easier to get behind the downpipes. Not happy! Apparently they use round ones on bespoke, anyone else find same thing? I'm worried they won't look as good?? Maybe I'm over thinking minor details? Hi Ezza, I have round downpipes too -...

Jeeta, did Arden's included hot water system have a water tank with it? It's not one of those solar hot water with gas booster, is it? Yup that's what they have. But we had to upgrade for approx $1k to cater for the 5 bathrooms.

Jeeta, have they showed you how the monitoring software for the tesla powerwall2 works? And did you have to have any special arrangements with your electricity retailer to be able to "sell back" excess power to the grid? Would be good to hear your feedback on this. Tnx. I didn't get the T...

Thanks to everyone for compliments. We love the house and are happy we went with Arden - mainly as we feel like we have a customised designed house that other builders wouldn't let us modify for. The quality is great too. Allot of credit goes to our SS and the trades he engaged. I hope to share more...
