There's a first: I've just chased up M to send me my final invoice! Looks like M will stand their ground on not handing over the keys until payment has been made and I'm so looking forward to my salt and pepper shakers. I had Optus install my internet on Friday and discovered that my entertainment h...

No I don't think so, I completely forgot guess I will add it to the list of things to look into. Fair play, it's really down to M to make this stuff clear, not like we've don't this before. You could get "works completed as planned" certificates for storm water, electrical and, I think, g...

Yeah, the aircon selection process was complicated for us too. We had questions about how many controllers we needed, 1 or 3 phase, upgrading the controller, and using sky-fi. Unfortunately, M usually doesn't have the answers and now they are moving to Fujitsu in NSW, it's all a bit of a mess. We w...
Wow - I'd clearly not thought it through in enough detail. I had assumed that with Sky-fi we'd have full control. I kne...

That looks like a lot of fun! I'm guessing you've not got a full occupancy certificate? Did M hand over the IOC? Build thread: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78995

Hi all, Been a couple months since my last post. I just had word today that my fantastic SM has resigned. We are about 1 month away from Handover so hopefully that's enough for him to see it through. I had some really good chats with him over the past few months and he took real pride in his work w...

And they tried to tell me we'd have a house by April.... Lucky I'm not silly enough to fall for that one. I'd agree with April..... 2019. In fact if they started your build now and it went like mine April 2019 is a realistic date! My dates: June 2015 -initial deposit June 2016 - completion ...

Here's hoping I hear from someone today. Even an email to say theyre trying to find an appointment would be something. Deafening silence is not so reassuring. I Hope so BC20, but don't your breath, a week's delay in admin really is just the tip of the ice burg. We've got to over 6 months delay in b...

Hi Nryde. I had the same standard controller installed and had no idea that the zone control would be standard switches. I have been tossing up whether to install the SkyFi controller, but i'm thinking now that i'd rather spend the money on a coolautomation controller and replace the daikin control...
Thanks SteveMc, I had upgrade to the Skyfi. I'm assuming that M simply haven't installed the correct control panel! Wil...

Omg those switches look awful! The zones should be integrated to the Aircon controller called 'zones'..... I think your controller support 2 or 4 zones? How many zones did you end up getting? We have 6 zones for aircon and upgraded the controller to support unto 8. Photo below https://uploads.tapat...
Did you have to request this controller specifically as part of electrical consult? It seems a perfectly sensible optio...

Tell me about it. At a minimum those switches need to be Saturn. We have 4 zones and had fully expected to have them integrated as part of the main temp/fan speed controller. Build thread: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=78995

Welcome to what I hope is a enjoyable experience. Sounds like you've selected/upgrade most of the usual stuff some minor pointers we've found: The zone control switches may not be integrated to your AC unit, double check as it would be much better if it was (at a minimum we would have liked to upgra...
