Has anybody here chose to remove the post between 2 sliding doors of multi and living room leading to alfresco? We are building the banksia 26 (2 storey), inquired about it and haven’t received the quotation yet. Was wondering how much did EB quote you with that. Hi @PClinkme I took a quote only wh...
Hi @PClinkme I took a quote only which was $10000. Explanation was the need for drop edge beam.

Thanks guys for the info. But I saw that all the builders are giving plastered garage walls as standard. How come EBH still does it the old way? Did some one tried to change it to pastered walls? How much did it cost? I guess its too late for me now (as we are now post frames stage) but what are th...

That does not look right. It is almost 1 year since I moved in my house. At the time just before the slab was poured, I checked with SS about slope and he said all sloping is done so that the water will flow towards the outer edges and away from the house. Alfresco slab in my house definitely is not...

For us they showed Standard range, we didn't asked for anything outside as we happy shortlisted 2 shades (Winter Icy, Ageless). We went with Ageless at the end as Winter Ice for us was too white. All the best

Hi All, Did any one upgraded from 2040 height doors to 2340 ones? How much does the upgrade per door cost? At my tender appointment, I was given a pre-packaged upgrade options list as per the display home. I choose the internal doors upgrade (that includes upgrade to 2340 and PMOD1 doors from stand...

Has anyone asked for all flooring to be finished at the same height? Pros/cons for this? Is there an added cost? If you are referring to the floor level height between living areas and the wet areas then there is a cost involved, for me EBH quoted $2500 back in 2015, I decided against going with it...

Hi, just wondering if anyone has a step down for their wet areas so that the floors between wet areas and the rest of the house sit flush when finished? Usually there is a charge by the builder to achieve this as they have to recess slab part of the wet areas by 45-55mm. I asked for a quote and it ...

Guys, I have to share 3 sides of fencing with my neighbors in 3 sides. Can anyone give me an approximate idea, how much I have to spend if I have shared fencing in 3 sides? I know, it depends on the fencing material as well, but approximate cost will help me for budgeting :) Thanks Rule of thumb $6...
Rule of thumb $65-70 per metre for a 1.8 mtr high fence supply and install. Add another $4-$8 for a 2.1 mtr high fence....

I got downlights installed(on ground floor) after handover a few weeks back. Electrician charged me $55+gst supply and install 13w (Martec - Tradetec) downlights. Replacing the batten holds with downlights makes sense if it is 13watts, as Bruce said, for small downlights like 7w the cost for getting...
