Concrete bricks will get more water seepage as bricks will be porous ,and on their own really horrible colour.

If it's not builders responsibility and they have built it well, then most others in your area would be the same with similar problems. U need another qualified set of eyes whom might just spot the obvious and or not hide anything for fear of high cost to fix.

How could he under qoute when u pay per brick layed and it's obvious and expected that there would be 2 different looks with different brickies,I would of offered more to keep him,as only you personally buying the exact same products using the same bricky will give you a consistent look.
