We got the Whispair Rome 90 more than 3 years ago now. It’s awesome. I think you won’t go wrong with picking any of the two.

Hi @twylamc How did it go? We are looking at use in verandahs - elevated and none of the decks are really close to the ground. The upper verandah is above the lower one. The verandah is 9m long, so we will have joints, but don't really like the breaker arrangement plus will need an extra rafter to ...

Personally, we would have gone for Trex but we have a big decking area and it would have cost us almost double.

I don’t mind the wall and tile colours but I’d add some warm tone like timber cabinetry.

I take it back, my partner says lengthwise it does expand in the heat. The gap pictured would be smaller in the summer. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210725/ca5c532c83fc9a866defa733bf5ef116.jpg

We had ekodeck installed in 2018 October and it’s still looking great. Granted ours sit mostly under a roof but the ramp that’s totally exposed still looks great. We were thinking to get Trex initially but the price difference was a lot and our budget couldn’t handle it. Photos in 2018 https://uplo...

Just to raise an old post: I have been speaking to my builder about raised front loader and dryer in our cabinetry designs. I think this is an excellent idea, but the builder has advised against it. they say there will be too many vibrations that affect all the adjoining cabinetry. Anyone has any e...

My partner laid our tiles which are 1200x600. Two tiles in a box weigh 38kilos. Imagine each tile that weighs 19kilos with glue and try to push that down or lift that up when you need to adjust or apply more glue. It wrecks your wrist even with the use of suction cup. They were quality Italian tiles...

Thanks for the response @twylamc Interesting you say that about the gap between the hotplate and edge, that's been the discussion point on another thread (https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=95839) I saw a photo from another angle in your OB thread (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.co...
Yeah, that’s what I mean. That’s a 120mm gap. Yeah I think 300mm should be fine. It really depends on what suits you the...

Our backyard. Still a few things to do like re-roofing the little shed, painting the verandah posts as well as tiling it and cutting the fence straight and putting caps on it.
