That second last photo of the brick's can you upload a bigger size photos. I do suggest even though you have gone past the excavation stage it would be a good idea to post them either on your blog or before these pics so we get the full scope of your build. We have just built a new home. The flooring was put in after the handover. They have put metal trimmings on the floorboards in the kitchen. All around the island bench and cupboards. Does anyone else have this or know of other options? Thanks Can you post a picture?

I have just read through some Design Guidelines of a new estate in the western suburbs of Melbourne and they want all dwellings to have a contemporary look. "Federation, Edwardian, Colonial, Victorian, Neo -Classical and Georgian" are not permitted. The facade I have chosen is acceptable ...
If its not mentioned in the design guidelines then they really cant do much.
