I actually refuse to do vinyl wrap kitchens if a customer asks. I would prefer to loose the job than put in a product that can have serious issues. Sorry to be blunt, I just don't think this product should be used in kitchens

We also weren't sure about waterfall ends and initially had it in our contract but got rid of them last minute after seeing a lot of display homes not having them and our sales guy even said how they were all ready going out of 'fashion' but in saying that they are always going to still look nice. ...

Also I am always thinking of what might happen if little children are slipping on the wet floor and running into waterfalls. On a good side though, extra stone provides a bit of additional thermal mass which you can use to your advantage of solar gains if placed in the north. If there isn't a water...

You don't want the flooring taking any of the weight of the waterfall. A 1-2mm gap filled with silicon would be the way to do it.

Cabinet boxes are typically built of plywood or particleboard. The strongest cabinets have full plywood sides and backs to stay square during delivery and installation, handle the weight of heavy countertops, and resist damage from moisture.Particleboard is a less expensive alternative. Very hard to give an estimate without a plan and the timber species. The timber species will have a major impact on the price!

It really depends on the brand and colour of the quartz top. I would say there isn't much difference between the two though. They both have pros and cons.

Make sure you stipulate that its a removable fixed panel(for excess) Some fixed panels are exactly that, fixed and cant be removed. If the panel is fixed but easily removable you could actually use the panel as a drawer front and only need the drawer internals.

The colour you want is in QQ highest priced range, no wonder its so expensive. Why is the kitchen company suggesting Michelangelo? Have you had a price, its still in QQ highest price range.

I think the cooktop bench top is to short. What is on the right hand side of the fridge, pantry storage?

No standards for microwaves, they are all different sizes. But a trim kit should always be 600mm wide which is the width of most wall ovens.

@cuttingEdgeKitchens In Europe they use a lot this kind of handles instead going handleless for the reason you mentioned with handleless kitchen. I haven't seen them here unless you buy a kitchen from a European Kitchen studio here in Australia. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/17529_1540901874.JPG h...

If we were to go down the route of “L profile” handleless drawers, I think we will end up going back to our original idea of waterfalls on both ends. Now knowing that we will lose drawer depth with this profile, what drawer front heights should we specify? The total bench height is 930mm, so taking...

Yes that handle strip works, I have used it a few times but not for quite a while. I just depends on if you like the idea of having an aluminium strip on the top of all doors and drawers? Personally I think a standard handle looks better than the that.

Have you seen any setups where the shadowline is part of the drawer front rather than part of the carcass? Not keen on losing that amount of drawer space. Yes, but this is a very old way of doing it. The finger pull can be routered into the face edge of the doors/drawer. I refuse to do them as the ...
